Music and dance have been lifelong collaborators with Día, taking many forms and igniting many sparks of creativity. Entering social dance spaces at 13 years old, their experience with movement-based connection has grown and expanded through new lenses and from different angles overtime, including but not limited to Fusion, Lindy Hop and Argentine Tango. As a DJ, Día draws heavily from her latin roots and a love of diverse rhythms and melodies to connect dancers with juicy, luscious sounds that invite flow, challenge, curiosity and experimentation.
